David Paul Cook has taught watercolor landscape painting, both in studio and outdoors, for 25 years.
Materials List:
Bring 20 or more pieces of less expensive cold press w/c paper, cut to about 51/2" x 81/2", or 6 x 9". (Shop Art Outfitters, Wal-Mart, or Hobby Lobby for Canson XL, or Strathmore 400, ARTEZA, Royal Langnickle, etc).
Instructor will use 5 tube watercolors Cad. Yellow, Alizarin Crimson, Cobalt Blue,Sap Green, Burnt Sienna (similar hues are also okay).
A 3/4" flat w/c brush, a #8 or #10 pointed round brush, a #2 rigger brush (similars are okay).
A board, larger than your papers, that sheds water, plus masking tape or clips to secure papers.
Unbreakable water container, soft pencil and soft eraser, paper towels, notebook, pen, drinking water.
