John Keeling
Afterretiring as a Creative Director from Hallmark Cards in 2013, John has been enjoying a second act as a full-time watercolor artist. His award-winning work has been recognized throughout the country, including acceptance into the 2022 Transparent Watercolor Society of America (TWSA) exhibition, the 2023 and 2024 American Watercolor Society (AWS) exhibition, and signature membership in the Watercolor USA Honor Society (WHS).
John operates a custom pet portrait business from his home studio in Kansas City, Missouri. He is represented by MHS Licensing and his watercolor images can be found on a range of consumer products, including greeting cards, calendars, home decor and fabric. John has illustrated three children’s books about Sam, a shelter dog who finds his forever home. He enjoys sharing his love of watercolor with others.

Exhibition in Calendar
Membership dues must be paid on or before November 8, 2024.
Entry deadline date is Friday, November 8, 2024
Notification of acceptance/decline by email by December 13, 2024.
Shipment of accepted entries to Laman Library must arrive between February 11-14, 2025 (instructions in this prospectus.)
Hand-deliver accepted paintings to Laman Library on Friday February 14, 2025, between 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
Opening Reception & Awards, Friday, March 7, 2025, 5:30-8:00p.m..
Exhibition will be open to the public March 7 through May 2, 2025
Pick up paintings at Laman Library, May 5, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Please note that artist’s statements are due to the exhibition chair no later than January 17,2025.
Entry Information and Fees
• This is a members-only exhibition show. Dues are $45. If you are not already a member of MSW, you can join here, (renew here), or pay membership fees online when you submit your images and immediately mail the completed membership application provided on the last page of this prospectus.
• Artists may submit one or two paintings. The entry fee for the exhibition is $45 for up to two entries.
• To enter go to www.onlinejuriedshows.com and follow the directions in the next section.
• No digital enhancement is allowed; image should represent the painting. (Please refer to tutorials and videos at www.onlinejuriedshows.com for assistance with photographing, uploading and resizing images).
• Please add services@onlinejuriedshows.com and manager@onlinejuriedshows.com to your safe senders list to ensure notifications are received.
