About this event





We will be painting the glass jars at 6” x 18”

- Arches 156lb cold pressed paper,
(you can also use Arches 140lb cold press or 300lb cold press)

Paper should be taped down to a board on all sides.
(I use a corrugated plastic board used for signage, gator board or varnished plywood works as well)

***Have the Drawing and Masking complete before the Paint-In.***

Reference , Drawing, and Masking Map can be found in the Materials Folder > Paint-In

***Bring your iPad/Tablet and iphone/Smart phone to the class.***


- Acid Free Artist’s tape white
- Holbein Masking Fluid
(or whatever your favorite masking fluid brand is)

- Ruling pen
(or whatever masking applicator you use)
Masking should be applied thinly and carefully.
- Rubber cement pick up
- #4 round synthetic or natural paint brush
- #8 round synthetic or natural paint brush
- #16 flat brush
(Bring all of your brushes to class)
- A scrubber brush,
(I use an old synthetic brush that allows me to scrub out highlights and mistakes)
- Paper towels
- Chambered water bucket

Daniel Smith Watercolors
- Opera Pink
- Bismuth Vanadate
- Yellow or a Lemon Yellow
- Ultramarine Turquoise or
- Viridian Phthalo Blue
- Red Shade or Ultramarine Blue
- Payne’s Blue Gray
- Quinacridone Gold
- Quinacridone Magenta
- Wisteria Indigo and Sepia mix 50/50 this is our black

Holbein Watercolors
- Horizon Blue
(you could use DS Cobalt Teal Blue)



Remember to bring your lunch.
There are fast food restaurants nearby, too.
