Kellar Dance Mask

We will paint this dancing couple.

Above is Cheryl Kellar's original photo, a value map, and a masked drawing.

If you are able to draw and mask your painting ahead of time that would be great.
You can download each image in the Paint-In Folder under the Materials Tab. The titles begin with C Kellar.
There are also visual instructions below.
To be directed to the Materials Folders click here.

You can print them as an architectural print at Fed Ex printing for about $2.40
Cheryl recommends painting on a half sheet (22x15).
It’s easier than painting smaller, she promises!

Don’t worry about the background. Just draw out the value shapes of the figures.
We will pour a background with fluid acrylics and paint the details in the shirts and the faces with watercolors
