Donna Twyford led our "paint-in" gathering on Saturday, January 18th, 2020. Donna won the 49th Mid-Southern Watercolorists Annual Juried Exhibition's Gold Award using the atomizing technique she shared at the gathering. Donna started painting 6 years ago, but you wouldn't know that from looking at her mesmerizing paintings.
Donna was very down to earth when discussing her pouring and atomizing process. She made time to visit with anyone who wanted her assistance. The 37 painters produced many great works that they were excited to share.
Donna said "I'm sure I enjoyed it [the gathering] more than anyone!" Her love and excitement was contagious, and it shows.
