Kathleen wowed the 20 or so members and guests that showed up for her portrait demo.
She stressed the importance of learning to see in colors and layers. She talked about the importance of mixing your own colors especially grey's and blacks. Kathleen demonstrated using these colors in a wet on wet painting that was soft, realistic, and full of depth.
Kathleen shared many quotable wisdoms with us, but this is my favorite: "Don't be afraid to finish your painting, if you don't do it who else will."
